It seems that the twenties of the twentieth century have become the contract for rest operations; But with EV-this and HybridRe -create the inner who made many of us fall in love with cars logically.
Not so long ago, Resto-Mods was almost exclusively preserved exclusively as large dollar and old cars. But exclusive, in the past two years, we have seen the JDM space growing in a few Resto materials; Built by GTR’s and TOM’s SuPRA myths only, but not limited to.

This is where Prodrive P25 comes. However, there is a big difference between P25 and other current Resto materials, which is production numbers. Cars like Builded by Legends GTRS are specialized, specially designed, and once for the customer building; One of the one where there is no one is the same. However, Prodrive P25 is a Marquok structure, each car 1 of 25 is designed.
So when Renccurator, the owner of this particular P25, continues to tell me that he would shake the car in the Magarigawa Club circuit here in Japan, I had to go and see what was getting 552,000 pounds for Subaru.
The Renncurator trip to Magarigawa was not only the disposal of P25, but also taking his other car for a few days of seat time – but we will touch this in another story.


Upon arrival at Magarigawa, the P25 was under some changes. The transformation from preparing the street to the settings that focus on the circles, lower the car 5 mm everywhere and control the weapons accordingly. In addition, 0.5 degrees of negative hump to the car were added to the car, the suspension has been tightened and street platforms were replaced to get the most aggressive race platforms.


This gave me a good opportunity to look at what was going on behind the PRODrive wheels. In the foreground, AP Racing 380mm Disped Discs with 6 pistols, and in the back, 4 and 350 mm press.

After a good day of the adjustments, today 2 rolled, and it is time to extend P25 legs for the first time on the track. Before this picnic, Renncrator had just enjoyed P25 on some local roads in Hong Kong, before sending it quickly to Japan.
But before we get to the right track, we will take a closer look at what makes this comfort very special-starting from the structure.

Life begins as standard Impreza wrx sti, cover, boot, front and back quarter, ceiling, as well as front and rear fenders tear and replace them with carbon fiber reproduction. There was also a noticeable increase in displaying the path to the structure with this swap, giving it unambiguous 22B look.

You may consider that for the price vehicle, 450 hp per hour does not look much, especially in a world where the new usual contains a 1000 hp standard. But what this car lacks in large numbers, it compensates for balance. 457lp of P25 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds – is not very bad at all.
This type of acceleration, however, is not placed with standard 6SP. Instead, the X-SHIFT 6SP gearbox with spiral gear was added, associated with an active and electrically modified central band.

The P25 has been observed as a “no promotional” approach. This means that there are no ABS, no traction control, hydraulic hand brake and all appropriate noise to fit.


But jumping inside the P25, there was no harm to rest. The interior is the cantara from the ground to the surface, associated with carbon fiber additives all over. The car still maintains a full information and entertainment system, the frequency current, heating, payment, loudspeakers and all the standard creatures of your average daily driver.
An example of Renncurator is what is believed to be the only person who carries a blue insertion on the seats and doors, with all other examples only black. Behind the seats, a roll cage identical with the wheel and harness.


In the foreground, a completely developed screen that provides several directions, methods and different data registration options that are operated by Motec ECU. And of course the anti -skipping system.



Jumping on the right track, Renccurator immediately noticed that cars improved the stability of the angle with the setup changed. When watching the car flying through the tight bends of the cycle, the car sat surprisingly, with the support of the Bilstein savings.

Today wrapped the right track, I had some time to shoot the P25 while the sun was flooded behind the hills circulating in the circle. Subaros has always retreated, but the P25 has raised the desire to get the torque and acceleration that has always been difficult to match any composition.
Two good years have passed since the beginning of P25 and there has been yet JDM Resto-MOD to hit the news; I will be very waiting.
