Volvo offers another safety innovation.
While the brand reputation has passed through different chapters over the years, Volvo is always known for creating luxury cars with Scandinavian taste for their design, and safety features like a few other manufacturers in the market. After almost all vehicles were seen on the road, Volvo was the one who first presented a three -point seat belt, more than 60 years ago in 1959. Now, Volvo opens a new chapter in creating a seat belt by presenting the first multi -performance seat belt in the world as part of its next new model, EX60.
For the first time the new model in 2026, the new seat belt that was seen in Volvo EX60 will be able to adapt to traffic differences in the real world, as well as adapt to the person wearing the belt, thanks to the advanced car sensor technology. For example, a larger occupant will get a dangerous crash to prepare a higher belt to prevent head injury, while a smaller passenger in a less severe crash carrying a lower belt load to lower the risk of fractures of the ribs.
Thanks to the air -to -air program updates, the mechanisms that make these decisions will improve over time, not only using the five Folfo contracts of safety and data research from more than 80,000 passengers who were in the accident accidents in the real world, but also using the data that will be collected in the future to continue to improve their performance over time. By working alongside air bags, passenger detection systems, and Adas, the new Volvo EX60 has been appointed to celebrate a new mark in vehicle safety with a multi -adaptable seat belt.
