Ford Ranger has won its first monthly sales victory for more than six months, which has led to the most powerful market sales in general so far this year.
The VFACTS numbers of the Federal Automobile Chamber (FCAI) today show a total of 108,606 new vehicles in March 2025, which rose to 111,617 when Tesla and Politar characters from the Electric Vehicle Council (EVC) included.
The total month increased by 1.2 percent over 109,731 deliveries in March 2024.

This was arrested by a decrease in sales on an annual basis, after February sales decreased 7.9 percent, while January decreased by 2.4 percent.
In the first three months of 2025, 295,952 cars were delivered in Australia, a decrease of 2.8 percent at 30,4452 deliverys that were performed during the same period last year.
Electric vehicles (EVS) took a large 19.9 percent diving last month, which is the largest of any type of fuel.
While the delivery of vehicles to gasoline and diesel has also decreased by 8.3 and 1.2 percent, respectively-the traditional and hybrid hybrids in PHEVS continued at the height, as the increases of 22.8 and 380.1 percent fall.
The last number comes as an exemption from the marginal interest tax (FBT) for PHEVS ended at the end of the month, with buyers who received their delivery after March 31, is no longer eligible for a tax break.
The delivery operations of PEV are still driving by Shark 6 UTE, which again ended on the platform in UTE sales in general, and outside the first five centers in general.
This also helped pushing BYD to seventh place in general, as the Chinese brand has become the best -selling for this month, the first time that this achievement has been achieved.
“We are in a decisive stage in moving to the fleet of low -emission vehicle. But the reality is clear: Australian families and companies do not turn large numbers to EVS,” Tony Weber, FCAI CEO, said in a media statement.
“While EVS supplies are increasing, now with 89 models in Australia, the demand for EVS is weak. The first adoption has been spent, but the rest of the vehicle purchasing audience did not follow them.
This is consistent with a number of other advanced markets around the world.
“The Australian auto industry has long called for an ambitious and investigative emissions standard. Once again, questions about government modeling must be asked, especially its assumptions about the consumer acceptance of new low emissions technologies.”
SUVs and light commercial vehicles (Uts and trucks) witnessed an increase in March of last year – with deliveries increased by 1.7 and 6.5 percent, respectively – however, passenger cars continue to slip, with delivery operations decreased by approximately 20 percent.
Although medium -wheel drive vehicles got a 6.0 percent blow, they are still largely popular.
While Toyota Rav4 was not at the forefront of this month-the first time since July of last year-it is still a new-selling new vehicle this year.
The sales charts are still missing, Inos, Mahindra, Smart and Xpeng.
Brands
Toyota has achieved the best month of the year so far in March, with 20,541 cars, an increase of 8.3 percent in 12 months. 57,797 recording operations were recorded, before it was operated in 2024.
Ford continues to sit in second, however, the slow best demand for the best -selling goalkeeper means that the brand in general is witnessing a decrease in the numbers last year.
Mazda maintains third place before KIA, Mitsubishi and Hyundai in a relatively narrow battle for the four places of month to month, although they all are comfortably advanced on BYD.
A record and a quarter of GWM was not enough to keep the BYD behind it, although it jumped through Nissan, which got the largest decrease in sales on an annual basis in the first ten.
MG dropped two sites to 10, while ISUZU continued to find himself outside the first ten places, unprecedented so far this year.
The rapid growth of Cherly has continued since its return to Australia in 2023, with the increase in huge deliveries by 293.2 percent in March, the largest brand.

Perhaps we have not seen Ford Ranger at the top of sales plans since June 2024, but UTE’s return to the front was not without a decrease in sales on an annual basis.
Fortunately for Ford, Rav4 from Toyota suffered a greater decrease, while the increase in Hilux was not enough to move the best -selling model again in the arrangement.
In a battle that reaches Tat, Mitsubishi Outlander returned back via Toyota LandCruiser Prado, although they were stripped of BYD Shark 6 channel, which has registered the best month of sales so far.
Toyota Corolla was the only traditional passenger vehicle in the best 20 sales, with the rest of the list consisting of SUVs and death.
