This new Chinese company has just launched in the United Kingdom, but it plans to get six cars here by 2027 | Autocar

Leapmotor will have six cars in the UK squad by 2027, as it looks to consolidate its place as the latest Chinese electric car maker cut here.

The company, which has its international business, sells 51 % by Global Giant Stelantis, a competitor to Dacia Spring, T03, and has just launched large SUVs. The elected range will arrive at the end of the year.

The B10, the Alfa Romeo Tonale, will come shortly after. There will also be a smaller multi -brown sports car and two other cars not SUVs, one B and one C. It is not yet clear that anyone will take these two people.

Leapmotor Rex technology may also be presented in some of these models, but it will wait for its reaction to its application in the C10 REEV first.

Leapmotor UK President Damian Daly said that the brand’s goal is to be the “best brand EV brand with the highest level of technology”, which it describes as a “car -made technology company”.

Although no specific growth plans are detailed, Dally described Leapmotor as a long -term project, but in the short term it will help Stelantis Group to reach the goal of ZEV’s authorization by mostly electrical brand.

There are currently 44 Leapmotor traders on current brand sites, and by the end of the year, the brand intends about 75, which places it on the same range as FIAT (also part of Stelantis) in the United Kingdom.

T03 is the only Leapmotor model that is currently designed in Europe (specifically Poland)-a step made in a short period of time impressive, as a result of the installation of the current Stelantis on the continent.

“Other cars are likely to be made in Europe after T03,” Dali said, given the existing infrastructure of Stellantis and a benefiting in avoiding a tariff for the import of the European Union on the Chinese EVS.
