Sony’s A95L is a replacement to its current QD-OLED flagship TV. It has been extremely well received. This is the model that was crowned the “King Of TV” in last year’s Value Electronics TV Shootout. Verge Editor-in-Chief Nilay Patel was on the judging panels.
The new model has been named the Bravia 8 II. Sony claims it has 125 per cent the peak brightness as the A95L, and 150 per cent of last year’s Bravia 8 which will continue to be sold in OLED but not QD. Sony claims that it will be cheaper and has a design similar to the A95L. However, pricing information will not be released until later this spring.
