After 30 delivery, 150 groups of self -sale and fresh investment announced, Rockteer announced two new cars that will be released this year along with the current MXV6 show. Which looks like a fairly good news when the sun shines.
Soon is something called Keryyo, or Japanese for “lightweight”, which was assigned by the Rockteer customer and will be the most extreme so far. Goals are 850 kg and 375 hp, with energy continuing from 3.0 liters of Jaguar V6. How will this weight and power be achieved, Rocketeer has not yet broken, exceeding the exciting promise of 9000 rpm, but Kerey? It will not be unique; Those who want one – definitely a lot of will – can seek construction now.
Rocketeer also expands to MK3 and MX-5S in the NC era, where only key delivery and convenience transfers of MK1 and MK2 models have already been offered. It was already said that in the “late stages of engineering and development”, we were told to expect 300 hp from a car coming in the summer. Rockteer expects to be busy with MK3s, given its popularity and ability to bear costs. The re -construction of a virgin MK1, which is valued at 10,000 pounds (or maybe more), after all, looks like a different possibility of MK3 decent half that.
Exciting times, then, expand the product portfolio for a large British brand. Buyers will be able to choose from the key delivery car (where the engine is installed only) or the Restobuild option, where everything is fixed in the joint excavation process and the completed car joins the Rockteer record for vehicles. These will still exist along with self -construction groups, to meet all budgets and skills. Just don’t be surprised if you are waiting for a little longer for any of them now, while waiting for MK3 and light weight in the wings …
