What looks good at 22 is rarely intact after a mortgage, melting and a middle.
When I was seventeen years old, I got the first pair of Cole Han: Tucker Venusian. Not only were they amazingly comfortable, but they also marked because of my personal journey. During my college years, I was emptied between Prep and something that I was going to call Elite Grunt. It didn’t recover. Once I started teaching, I got my move, and I was a completely blowing preparation: Khaks, Loffers, Tie, Jacket. People started to know me as the boy who emphasized the work, and I was proud of my surrender game that he was a step above the field.
But then I had a daughter, going through divorce, had the same father, started dating, married again, and more children were born. And through all of them, my personal style changed.
Now that I am about 39 39 years old, a tired father, an experienced teacher, and happy married, my aesthetic is developed.
Here are some things I have learned on the way. You may be related.
I do not prepare to impress
When I taught the student, I had a tenth grade student who saw one day that my socks similar to my tie. He identified it, and it became my somewhat playful signature. He laughed at the children, and I really enjoyed The Coordination. When I got my first teaching job, I saw in my mind that people were paying attention to how I was dressed, and I was not going to be a frustrated man.
Over time, I have noticed that at the beginning of my career, I focused more on whether I was dressed more than whether I was really an effective teacher. Now that I dress in the morning, I focus on wearing a dress that will make me physically comfortable and let me feel good about myself aesthetically. No one else can see or not, I don’t worry.
Personal hygiene is a part of your personal style
A few years ago I had a student struggling to take notice of women. After a day’s class, he told me that he had started ironing his polos and sketches (my school uniform) before school and he was trying to keep himself out there more in the conversation there. But the girls were not interested in talking to her.
Only when the conversation is real. We had an honest conversation about washing hair, washing, shaving and nail trimming, none of which was doing on a regular basis. I told him that he didn’t have to be a cosmetologist (which I had to explain), but when my children call this game, some basic hygiene care makes all differences.
The fact is that the importance of hygiene is beyond mere tampering. No one is paying attention to your boardroom presentation if your hair is lubricant, and the boss does not develop a boy with strange nails.

Wearing dresses are two problems that are too tight:
1. It is not comfortable.
My job I need to rotate around the room, walk down to check students and join the groupwork. The last thing I need is that the SewN pants button is quickly needed to fly into the room with a pill speed because I put a lot of pressure on it. I will wear pants instead and fit the waist to me and know that I’m safe to move comfortably.
2. You are not fooling anyone.
Do the car salesmen actually think that they have fooled the world to believe that they all have a huge bossip? Like… we all know that the only two sizes with that button down short sleeve are very small, right? The thing here is, when your clothes are too tight, it doesn’t make you look sharp: it looks like you when Tommy puts on Richard’s jacket and starts singing A thick man in a little coat. Buy better products and generate less waste
I know we have written a little about it, but the more I get the older, I hugged the philosophy once. I have the same pair loofer for more than ten years. I still have three dress shirts I bought the first year of my teaching, and I have picked up a leather bag since the age of 22. This does not mean that I don’t enjoy getting new things. Hell, in Affection New things. But whatever I get, I try to get what I can afford so that it has to change in six months.
And to make clear, I can’t afford the best Is The most expensive means. One of the best examples of this is my under -shirts: Walmart’s House Brand of Under Shirts (George) is terrific. They do not shrink, and cotton is perfect weight. I can afford them, and they are the best I have found.
The dressing below this opportunity is not cool
Even when I have left the “dress to impress” for younger friends, I still wear proper clothing on this occasion. A complete suit in my work has no meaning, but neither is a t -shirt. Recently, my wife and my wife went to the wedding, and I couldn’t believe how many boys were wearing a slack and dress shirt but there is no tie or jacket. And hey, I’m not saying that they need to wear a tie And One jacket, but they could wear at least one or the other.

A small pop of color fixes a long distance
