Applications for the first “Electric Premium” are available in Australia from IM Motors-the luxury brand for the Chinese MG-Open now, as the prices of both medium-sized electric cars (EVS) have been announced today before the first customer connections later this year.
The IM5 Electric and IM6 electric sedan will arrive in Telsa Model 3 and Tesla Model Y, respectively-a country-level engine price of $ 60,990.
According to the MG website, the estimated delivery time for requests to be delivered is 12 weeks.
IM5 and IM6 presented their local public appearances in Melbourne in April, but the levels of detailed equipment for Australian versions were not confirmed.

Both cars share the same developed normative platform 800 volts such as MG 4 Hatchback, but both are longer, longer and wider-with a longer wheelbase of 200 mm (2905 mm), the rear space is liberated more than MG 4.
Both will be available in the same degree of the three specifications that are closely identical – Premium, Platinum and Performance – with all three variables also priced between the sedan and SUVs.

MG MOTOR AUSTARALIA says the standard cabin fee for all versions includes 26.3 -inch digital touch screens, a panoramic ceiling, a “luxurious” seat and a 20 speaker sound system.
There is also a 360 -degree angle camera in addition to the AI and access to the MG ISMART Phone app.
The 69,990 Platinum Sedan IM5 receives a lithium battery package worth 100 kilowatts and a more powerful rear engine that produces 300 kilowatts/500 nm, which provides a fastest 4.9-second claim 0-100 km/h, 655 km of WLTP range and shipping 396 kW.
The IM6 Platinum Suv has identical claims and performance, according to the MG website.
The pioneer cooperated in the performance of $ 80,990 of a 100 kW battery with two electric motors to provide four-wheel drive, and the total outputs of at least 572 kW/802 NM, and the time claims 0-100 km/hour from 3.2 seconds.

MG says that both sedans and four -wheel drive vehicles can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in less than 15 minutes.
IM5 and IM6 will not be supported by the MG brand for 10 years/250 thousand km, but through “a seven -year -old guarantee in the industry when serving it in the IM distributor network.”
IM means intelligence in movement and in Australia, the brand will be officially marketed as IM presented by MG Motor. All of its vehicles were launched in China in 2020, jointly developed by MG Parent Saic Motor and Chinese Companies alibaba Group and Zhangjjiang Hi-Tech.
