For a long time, the interiors of Honda were chaos of lines, pieces, different types of plastic materials and terribly multimedia system. When it was launched in 2022, this CIVIC HR-V was following something more restricted and elegant.
The interior features clean lines and a network of hypocrisy that works by width of the dashboard. Honda has not pressed the ease of use on the style altar – the exact opposite. CIVIC has great cabin temperature handles, fan speed and lots of solid buttons for basic functions.
On the whole, the materials are not at the same level as the Mazda 3 or BMW 1 series, but they are equal with what you will find in the Volkswagen Golf game and cut over Toyota Corolla.
The central touch screen is slightly floating on top of the dashboard, but it also does not dominate the interior. However, the digital ingredient is the less impressive thing for civil. The screen is very low, and the SAT-NAV is somewhat stable for programming and does not adapt to traffic like the best. We were tending to virtual to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto (both are wireless now but it wasn’t at launch). It is useful to have physical buttons “back” and “home page”.
Likewise, the set of digital tools is clear and simple, but it does not provide much more functions than analog aspects.
The driving position is good, but the seats may be more comfortable. You sit well and low (Honda has a lot of SUV alternatives if you prefer to sit higher) and there is a lot of modification in the router. However, although the seat has an adjustable angle, it lacks some filling and the seat becomes very short.
With a total length of 4551 mm, CIVIC is a much longer car than Hatchback versions than the golf game (4284 mm) and Corolla (4370 mm), which appears in the interior area it offers.
Back passengers have a much more knee room than it is in these two competitors, and even with the panoramic ceiling opening, adults can comfortably ride at the back of the CIVIC.
At 410 liters, CIVIC is overcome for the boot space by Skoda Octavia but at the upper end of the separation. It is also a practical and useful space, thanks to the wide opening opening, and the unusual load cover that opens and closes sideways.
However, keep in mind that many competitors, such as Corolla and GOLF, are also available as a drug with a longer wheelbase.
