General Motors (General Motors) confirmed that the second North American factory will start making the new V8 V8, at the Tonawanda Payment Factory in Buffalo, New York, from 2027.
In contrast to the broader global automotive industry that is invested extensively in the field of electric power generation, General Motors said the cost of $ 888 million ($ 1.377 billion) to build the new V8 in Buffalo is “the largest individual investment that the company has made in a engine factory.”

“The new combustion and thermal management is a major factor that leads these improvements.”
No more details have been announced – such as displacement, energy, torque, or fuel consumption.
The new V8 was announced by GM in 2023 as an alternative to the current “Gen V” engine that was introduced in 2013.
After its confirmation, GM plans for a six -cylinder engine to offer the power and capacity of the V8 Rivalling.
GM Stellantis-which has competing brands including Dodge, RAM and Chryler, among other things-has been dropped since then the famous Hemi V8 engine instead of a 3.0-liter dual hurricane engine.
