Ford revealed a new Bronco model exclusively for the Chinese market. It is called Bronco New Energy, as it is either the full four -wheel drive vehicles of the battery or as a hybrid composed of (with a gasoline generator). This new Bronco looks like a box and four doors like a larger Bronco Sport game, with a full -sized backup frame installed on a rear door. It carries many rugged design signals as shown on other Broncos (flow door handles, square body) but ride on an unspecified structure.
Under the entire Bronco hood, Ford has installed a huge battery of 105.4 kW per hour. In the test cycle in China, the battery is good for about 404 miles of range (about 650 km). SUVs use two electric motors (one on each axis) to drive all wheels. These engines together collect about 232 kW (311 hp), which allows Bronko Yves the trip up to about 105 miles per hour (about 170 km/h). With this setting, it can cover a lot of distance on a shipment, while maintaining the spirit of rough roads alive with zero emissions.

Mixed Bronco (which is often called EREV, or a long -range electric vehicle) has a smaller battery of 43.7 kWh and a 1.5 -liter gasoline engine that only works as a generator. On electrical energy alone, it can go about 137 miles (about 220 km). When the gas engine begins to recharge the battery, the total range jumps to about 758 miles (about 1220 km). Completely, electric motors and generator are made about 241 hp. This gives Bronco the hybrids a very long driving range, as it can work in a pure electrical mode for daily use and switch to fuel energy to do long trips.
Even as EV, this Bronco is designed for the path. It has chunky frames all the terrain and ridiculous land clearance such as normal bronco. The back hole swings and carries a full -sized backup, just like classic Broncos on rough roads. One high -tech feature: Lidar sensor sits on the surface. This indicates that Ford plans to include advanced driver aid systems (such as emergency brakes, hot help, or even hands -free driving) in the new Bronco energy. The upper part of the rough roads (potentially the release of “bad lands”) should add additional panels for sliding and off -road tools, making it ready for Chinese cutters.
This Bronco EV built in its joint factory with Jiangling Motors in China. The company has released only photos and specifications of humor so far, but reports indicate that the new Energy Brunco will be offered for sale in late 2025. Early price estimates are about 42,000-55,000 USD. Currently, Ford said it is a strict model only, and there is no word to sell it elsewhere.
As of now, the Ford Bronco New Energe is related only to China. Ford has not given any timetable for the US issuance. In North America, all brono still uses the gasoline engine (Ford promised that Bronco Hajin would come at some point). But Chinese Bronco EV/Erev shows what brono or hybrid brono. It is a large rough four -wheel drive vehicle with tons of domain and modern technology, which carries a Bronco’s adventure spirit in an electric future.
