The Internet was not completely nice with the new CLA, but the global web does not push Mercedes to keep the lights. Buyers are, using their hard -winged money. The three -point star is happy to report that the demand for the electric sedan is strong, as the production head of Joerg Burzer described the amount of demand as “very encouraging”. To the extent that the compact luxury car will enter a schedule of production with three goals later this year to keep pace with the number of high orders, if not determined.
Mercedes had received orders since April in Germany, but some local buyers may have to wait until 2026 to deliver, according to the business newspaper Cars. Long delivery times are usually a sign of strong demand, unless there are bottlenecks in the production process. There were some problems related to rare land securing, but Berzer says that these problems have been solved and there are currently no restrictions.

CLA production is still in the design stage, with plans to add a copy of gasoline near the end of the year. It will be a moderate hierarchical model with a 1.5 -liter gasoline engine and a dual -clutch automatic transmission. The ice version should reduce the starting price significantly compared to the basic electrical style. In Germany, the cheapest EV composition starts from 55,858 euros for CLA 250+ with EQ technology.
The demand should grow more with the launch of the new CLA shooting brakes. Mercedes make another compact cart, this time, it will also be sold as EV. It will also be assembled in the German factory in Rastat, where the GLA crossover is expected to be built from the next generation as well.
Berzer did not rule out the extension of the Class and B-Class life cycle. The two typical lines built in the same factory remains common despite their age. However, the A-Class and Sedan hatchback alternatives, along with a small B bus, are not planned, making CLA the new model for beginners. Another GLB looks like a box on the way with gasoline and electricity versions, as well as the so -called “Little G” scheduled for this contract.
