It was logical, because her husband, the American, was already a source of paint there. Aston Martin Paint has found completely different from PainT Transit Paint: “I started thinking about five jobs per hour would be easier than 60 jobs per hour, but this was completely wrong. That was true, Aston Paint was completely different – many coats and a lot of polishing – but the big difference was the fact that the operators had a lot to remember it.
Miller explains that the time (the operation) was about five minutes, while in Aston was more than 25 minutes. People had to remember 25 minutes of work instead, which is more difficult.
However, Miller flourished there for six years – until Ford Aston Martin sold and suggested, once again, to return to central engineering. In a timely manner, the GM festival arrived with an offer to move to ELLESMERE Port where Vauxhall was about to launch Astra D2, but there were major problems in the paint store.
Miller, uniquely qualified to keep and fix the process, was ideal for this position. Aston was small, compared, and Miller admired the Liverpool region where she was at the university.
“We decided to make this step, and joined the company with a high level enough to make the necessary changes,” she says. “The launch of ASTRA was the best in the history of the company, and I fully enjoyed it. From that, I was asked to take over the General Assembly, and another development. I enjoyed painting, but there are a lot of people in the General Assembly, and I think this is the place where my skills are made. We have made some good progress; people felt to tell me about their difficulties.
