The comprehensive Apple version of CarPlay is finally here. Starting today, Aston Martin will start introducing CarPlay Ultra, which releases the Apple experience to each screen in the car, including a set of tools.
All new vehicle requests from today will get DBX, Vantage, DB12 and Vanquish on CarPlay Ultra as standard equipment. Current cars will get it with the latest Aston-launched information and entertainment system, which was launched at 2024 DB12-at “The ComE Weeks” through the company’s merchant network.

Aston said it is working closely with Apple to create a system “consistent with the unique design philosophy of the brand and is still well known as Aston Martin”, which you can judge.
There are many design options for the speed scale and rotation scale. They integrate with maps and media on the full screen in a set of tools for an overwhelming experience that keeps you within the Apple ecosystem, which we really want. Drivers can also choose various traits of the neck, colors and backgrounds and allocate the entire screen.
Ultra allows owners to place Apple routers on the screen and provide access to vehicle function management such as radio and climate. However, there are excess material controls and transgressions of vital processes such as heating and cooling, choosing gear, exhaust, structure, and more. You can use the touch screen, physical controls, or Siri to control the car.
Apple initially announced Carplay Ultra in 2022, followed by a two -year joke and promised that the system would arrive in 2024. This did not happen, with Apple calm down around the lost deadline earlier this year. The technology giant can be busy with helping to finish the finishing touches on the “ASTON’s entire” version of Ultra. Either way, it’s finally here.

Aston was one of the many brands that Apple mentioned with the name she was working on on CarPlay Ultra. It was another Porsche, but not every car maker is eager to deliver the entire Apple experience to Apple.
General Motors is hostile to playing, as the feature falls from its cars, while ruralvy was clear about the desire to keep controlling the digital ecosystems of the vehicle. But there are solutions if you are stubborn. On the other end of the spectrum is Ferrari, who gave up the attempt to create its navigation system and admit that your smartphone was better.

Aston launches CarPlay in the United States and Canada first, as it directed it to all global markets during the year. You will need iPhone 12, later, iOS 18.54, or later to get CarPlay Ultra.
We will have to know if the Porsche system comes its fruits and see how other car manufacturers interact. If it is good, and people want it, it can expand throughout the industry as the first repetition of CarPlay does, and they become the preferred way for people their cars.
