Earlier this month at the Seoul Motor Show, Genesis inspected two concepts-X Gran Coupe and X Gran Convertible-based on the leading sedan, Mercedes-Class-Rivaling G90.
Among more than half of the decorations of the concepts of doors, the Genesis has been revealed, one of these two models based on G90 is likely to be produced.

“It is now time to bring a coupe’s classification of the car – a coupe, and possibly convertible – as a production car,” said Luke Donccrolck, chief creative in Genesis. CarexpertAt the New York Motor Show.
“I am very positive and next month the possibilities of demand for markets, then I hope we have good news about it.
“We won’t let it go. There were many designs and the reason I do is that I will never give up on it.”
But Mr. Donckerwolke will not confirm whether a production version of X Gran Coupe or X Gran Convertible will be built in the right leadership.
It is worth noting that the G90 sedan is only a left drive, which is the only model of the brand that has no version of the right rock.
“I can’t answer yet, this is something that we should look at, but it is clear that our goal is to always be a global luxury brand,” he said.
“This means that we must aim at all markets at the same time. This is one of the great tasks we have.”
The concepts are shared at the wheelbase, which is 3190 mm long from the standard G90, which provides them with a wide rear seat.
They also use the same V6 Twin-Turbo V6 engine itself with an electronic charger, which is produced in the sedan in the sedan car 305 kW of energy and 549 nm of torque and is mood with an eight -speed automatic transmission and move background or all wheels.
Mr. Donckerwolke confirmed earlier this month that production versions will use “additional development for this movement group.”

The latest X concepts may be the most cost -effective for all bilateral brand concepts that must be produced.
“There was absolutely no compromise in the product design and desire by taking the G90 platform,” added Mr. Donckerwolke, noting that the G90 platform was not at all modified for X -durable concepts this year.
The Genesis brand was established in 2015 only, and Mr. Donckerwolke said it was not the time for the two -door model of the brand so far.
He said: “We were doing cars and looking at work situations for all of the concepts we did.”
“The brand is very small, you realize that sometimes the market is not ready for these products yet because it is clearly exclusive and you must first build and unify the brand.
“Once you can do this, you can then take one step higher at one time.
“We now think this is the time. We have done projects like Bespoke, one of them, which shows us that there is a great demand for a more exclusive upbringing.”
Genesis launched a pair of sedan cars, and it was initially a heavy sedan selection. This may be good for Korea thirsting for the car, but in export markets like us and the United States, SUVs represent a large percentage of luxury car sales.

G90 sedan
The brand later followed its sedans with a range of SUVs, which are expected to grow more with GV90 – the preview of the Neolun concept last year – and perhaps even a production version of the concept of X Gran Ciarator for this year.
Genesis seems to have closed the door on production versions of the previous trio of related concepts, X and X Experium Coupes and X Convertible.
The company has never released energy generation details, unlike saying that it uses electrical energy.
“After I tried EV Coupes and Condridibes, we realized that people were not ready yet, so we said well, let’s take a current platform.”

Rare electric and exposed carbohydrates. Michati has electrical versions of Granturismo and Grancabrio, but other luxury brands restrict electrical energy on vehicles that contain four or five doors.
Although the Genesis was slow to launch two doors, the luxury coupe and the convertible market are a shell for what it was.
Do not offer luxury brands like Acura, Cadillac, Lincoln and Volvo two doors and have not done it for years.
AUDI recently finished TT and R8 production and has not yet confirmed the alternatives to the A5 Coupe and Collectible, while Infiniti recently dismantled the Q60 Coupe that it had not left without any sewers.
Then there are brands that still offer a coup and ingredients, but in numbers smaller than before.

For example, the Mercedes-Benz dismantled the SEP and convertible Class, and merged Class C, E-CleASS Coupe and Collectible into one Cle line, and unloaded SLC Roadster.
Lexus finish RC production, leaving only LC, while BMW is said to not replace the 4 series of series 4 series.
Mr. Donckerwolke reduced the brands that re -revived the coupe boards and applied them to different cars. Although he did not mention names, examples of this practice include Ford Puma, Cabri and Mitsubishi’s Eclipse Cross.
He said: “It is a little sad when you see the squad you see in most of our competitors. We are at a stage where you get rid of all the most separate vehicles in the squad.”
“Somewhat normal … sometimes, take a car from the past, take this name, sell it as four -wheel drive vehicles. It’s a great betrayal of the brand heritage. We will not do that.”
