Kia revealed the production design of Volkswagen ID 3- Rivalling EV4, before later later this year.
Only a little concept shown in 2023 has changed, EV4 arrived to fill the gap between the EV3 and EV5 SUV that is scheduled to be launched in Europe soon.
It will be sold in the first place as a five-door opening in Europe, where it will be a natural competitor for ID 3 in addition to Hyundai Kona Electric, Renault Mégane E-Tech and Mini Aceman. Fastback looks at four doors, mainly designed for other global markets, to maintain the wheelbase itself but add a more background end, and with some additional capacity.
The brand has not provided any specifications for the EV4 yet, but it will participate in the E-GMP platform with the other EVS for KIA, and thus it is presented by selecting 58 kW batteries or 81 kilowatt hours per hour or a front engine or four wheels. It should describe a maximum range of more than 350 miles, but it is likely that it is possible to charge 400 volts for higher speeds of up to 128 kW – as with EV3 and EV5.
All KIA EVS is to receive hot GT versions, so it is expected that the 4Wd group performance with energy and speed to match the Tesla Model 3 performance below the line.
The interior details remain under the winding, but the EV4 concept that was disclosed in 2023 gives a good idea of what can be expected, with an elegant information panel, topped by a wrapped digital screen, a step -by -step front and focus on emerging textiles throughout.
EV4 will be completely detailed on February 27 at the annual EV Day exhibition, where it will also reveal an EV2 concept, an electric hatchback without four meters will take on the Volkswagen 2 and Renault 5 ID next year, with a start price of about 25,000 pounds. .
